Ministère de la Santé et de la Sécurité sociale

Since 1992, the ministry of Health has supported health sport in particular through its agreement with the Association Luxembourgeoise des Groupes Sportifs pour Cardiaques. In 2018, the ministry of Health decided to invest more in the secondary prevention of chronic diseases through sport. It granted the necessary credits to the reimbursement of the benefits of the persons supervising the therapeutic physical activity classes proposed by the members of the Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Associations de Sport de Santé. The ministry of Health has also decided to subsidize a position of Senior Manager for coordination, promotion, training and research in health sport.

    CMCM

The CMCM defends the same values and the same causes as Sport-Santé, namely social commitment, equity, and especially health prevention. The support of the CMCM mainly allows the FLASS to reinforce the promotion of the Health Sport with the aim that the physical therapeutic activities will be practiced by more people with a chronic disease. To a lesser extent, the support of the CMCM also concerns training and research, two other areas developed by the FLASS.

The Œuvre, whose revenues are generated by the National Lottery, supports a considerable number of philanthropic actions and projects. The Œuvre has been supporting Luxembourg’s sport for years. However, it also wanted to invest in the field of therapeutic sport which is at the other extreme of elite and competitive sport. In 2013, the Œuvre decided thus to support Sport-Santé morally and financially.
